About the Gender Budgeting dataset

Welcome to the OECD Database on Gender Budgeting.

The dataset contains the results of the 2016 OECD Survey of Gender Budgeting Practices. It indicates the status of gender budgeting in OECD countries. The dataset provides information under the following section headings:

The information held in the database is made available free of charge. However, the data are protected by copyright and we request that you cite the OECD as the source (OECD Gender Budgeting Database).

About this Survey

The 2016 survey was conducted by the Budgeting and Public Expenditures Division of the OECD and preliminary results were presented at the 37th annual meeting of the OECD Senior Budget Officials in Stockholm.

The OECD has conducted extensive quality control of the responses in order to ensure consistency and reliability.
